QuickQ Processor Replacement Reissue Serial Number

Once the processor has been replaced in the console, the serial number for the console needs to be re-issued to the new processor. Please see below instructions on how to do this.

1. Insert a USB stick into the console
2. On the console keypad, or using a USB keyboard, tap the @ key 8 times
3. You should see a new menu appear - select "Save serial request to USB"
4. Open the saved .txt file on a PC and copy the contents of the file
5. Go to https://s2.chamsys.co.uk/manual/reissue
6. Fill out the form, pasting the contents of the file into the correct field, click on Next
7. Download and save the newly created .txt file to a USB stick
8. Insert the stick into the console and select "Install serial response from USB"
9. Select the downloaded .txt. file

Note: This method requires the latest OS (QuickQ - 20210810 or higher, MQ70 v16 or higher) if in factory mode, or latest MagicQ/QuickQ (July 2021 or higher) if in normal mode. If there are any issues with the process, check this first.
