Re-issuing Serials via USB QuickQ and MQ50/70
Important: This method requires the below OS versions, or higher. If the method fails, then the processor may need re-flashing with one of these versions first.

To re-issue the serial number of the console to the new part:
- Insert a USB storage drive into the console.
- Switch the console on. You should be presented with a white menu.
- On the console keypad (MagicQ consoles only), or using a USB keyboard, enter @ 8 times.
- You should now see a purple menu. Select Save serial request to USB.
- Make a note of the .txt file saved on the stick, open it on a PC and copy the contents.
- Open https://www.chamsys.co.uk/usbreissue and paste the copied text into the last field.
- Fill out the rest of the form, including the console serial number, and click on Next.
- Download and save the new .txt file generated to a USB drive.
- Insert the USB drive into the console and select Install serial response from USB. Select the downloaded .txt file.
- The console will now prompt you to install the .cdz (MagicQ) or .cdq (QuickQ) software from a USB drive.
