MagicQ500m, MQ500m+ and MQ500 current consoles, no RDM on direct DMX ports. Use Network connections to Artnet RDM enabled nodes instead.
MagicQ: Background RDM checking is disabled by default. Check the setting in Setup, View DMX I/O, Net Manager, View RDM.
MagicQ MQ50, MQ70, MQ80, MQ250M consoles and Mini Connect, Compact Connect, Stadium Connect along with MagicDMX Full support RDM via direct DMX ports.
Turning on RDM background discovery may result in seeing messages in the command line for example; RDM-di = RDM Device Info, RDM CHK P = RDM Check patch.
