51.6. MagicQ console blank screen off conditions and fixes

Note:

• Hold CTRL down hit blue button X - Turns console screen on/off
• Hold CTRL down hit blue button A - Locks/unlocks console
• Hold CTRL down hit blue button B - Sets all brightness on/off (blacks out entire console when set to off)

1. If the screen is blank then this may be because of the screen saver. Try pressing SHIFT or any button/encoder.
2. If the screen remains blank even after pressing buttons then try holding CTRL and pressing the "X" soft button (If on a stadium this is use the Right Hand of the two buttons). This action turns the screen on or off.

If no change:

1. Hold CTRL and hit the "X" blue button twice quickly. This attempts to restart the screen backlight.
2. The console may have been locked by a user After turning the screen off. Hold CTRL and hit Blue Button A locks. so, to unlock and test for unlock:

• Hold CTRL, hit A once to unlock
• Hit the "S" buttons or ">" buttons to see if the button backlights lights follow last touched. If they do then the console is unlocked.
• Now Use CTRL X to turn the screen back on.

If no change:

1. Hold CTRL and button B. This toggles the "All Brightness options" If this does not help then press CTRL and the second soft button a second time.
2. If the screen still remains blank then try connecting an external monitor and check the bios settings
